My Mother Has A 2006 Mercedes C350 with 164,000 miles and she's the 3rd owner and the only thing she has had to replace was the fuel pump… Her car is 15 years old and it's in very good condition and it runs very nicely… I have a 2018 C300 and (knock on wood) I haven't had any problems! I'm the original owner of my car and the only thing i have had done is an oil change (of which i have only had to do twice a year!) 💙
M266 from the W169 and first gen B class are really reliable units. SOHC, 8v head, no VVT. Only fancy thing it has is a good VLIM system. They are just the single most difficult to access engine I've ever worked on. Timing chain and auxiliary drive belt on the same side of the engine is so weird
I totally disagree. I have this engine on my e class 2005 and it has 180000 miles on it and works perfect like brand new engine.
The 651 is a great engine however they do have their issues and you can't avoid them. I'm at 140000 miles and my chain rattles on start. And it's a 2015 BlueTEC 🤷♂️
M273 Is reliable, but mine started burning oil when the mileage got higher, won't recommend this engine, but it's not that bad.

as owner of a w211 e320 avantgarde…today i have 470.000 km on computer….regular maintenance(so regular oil change also for automatic gearbox)…the only extras were: injectors cleaning and 2 batteries..still a car that works like a charm…im vey happy with it and i think i will never change it
Meh… I was looking at getting an A4 then ppl saying how expensive they are yo fix and very temperamental etc…. Now I started to look at other cars that being the CLC 200/20 and again ppl saying how bad the engines are / what do I buy as everything I look at and research is BAD lol

I think it's too late for me to watch this video, my 651 is destroyed, repair is just too expensive, I can buy a used w124 in great condition for the money I'll spend for repair. Dear friends if you are about to buy w212, please avoid 651 engine, it's simply a peace of shit.
